FAQ
You asked, we answered!
Traditional artificial grass and plastic pee pads trap liquid on the surface, causing tracking, leaks, and severe odors. Our real sod patches use living grass roots to naturally absorb urine and instinctively neutralize odors, giving your dog a cleaner, completely natural, and familiar environment to go to the bathroom.
Minimal maintenance is required. In hotter months, we recommend lightly misting the grass with a spray bottle every 2 to 3 days to keep the roots hydrated. Avoid overwatering or soaking the patch, as over-saturation reduces the grass's natural ability to absorb your pet's urine.
Yes, our sod patches are 100% natural and grown without any harmful pesticides or chemical treatments, making them completely safe for pets. While it is non-toxic if ingested, we recommend supervising your dog if they tend to dig or try to eat the grass as a snack.
Most dogs recognize the scent of real grass immediately and adapt within 24 hours. If your dog needs a bit of guidance, try placing them on the patch when they usually need to go (like early morning) and use positive reinforcement or treats when they succeed. It is highly recommended to completely remove old plastic pee pads so they don't default to old habits.
On average, a fresh grass patch lasts comfortably between 2 to 4 weeks. The exact lifespan depends on your dog's size, how frequently they use it, and how much airflow and natural light the patch receives.
The ideal spot is an outdoor balcony, patio, or a location near an open window. Good airflow and a bit of indirect sunlight help keep the live grass fresh and odor-free much longer. If placed outdoors, ensure it is sheltered from direct heavy rain to prevent the box from becoming oversaturated.
There is virtually zero cleanup. You only need to pick up solid waste just as you would on a normal walk, and let the real sod naturally absorb the liquid. When your replacement patch arrives, simply dispose of the old patch in your regular trash or green waste bin.
